Knowing Your Mission will Help You Win at Business and in Life

By Vito La Fata

What over-the-top massive action are you striving towards in your fitness business? How can we together rewrite the future of our nation and our industry? We need to know our missions, and just as important, we need to know what is trying to block us from your mission. We need to have our vision and our goals clearly laid out for us this year and for the securing of our futures.

To reach your vision in your business, it is smart to attempt to move to a place beyond that zone that you are the most comfortable in. Usually people do not change unless they get to a place where they are pushing themselves into discomfort. Even though it is unpleasant for a while, it will soon pay off.

Also, take some time to think about the different roles that you play in your life. Maybe you are a mom or a dad or a grandmother or grandfather. Spend some time journaling where you are and where you would like to be in each of those roles: that is part of your vision too.

In addition, remember that life is not just about running after to-do lists. Rather, you should seek to live a significant life and to go in the direction of your dreams. What are you actually working toward in your business? Do you have a particular outcome and goal that you are seeking?

Setting deadlines is a great way to make more of your dreams and visions become a reality. If you do not set a deadline, it is hard to make things happen because you will find that it is so easy to put things off. Give yourself rewards for reaching your deadlines and also give yourself unpleasant consequences for missing them!

Otherwise people's behavior leans towards waiting til later. It's just what it is. You can fight it or you can understand it. But, you're a hard charger- you set your own deadlines and you hold yourself accountable. That pressure is like a forge for your soul, your skills, your mind.
